Sybaritic Single Prefers Perfect Products

As the Sybaritic Single devours his tin of Petrossian caviar, he embraces all sorts of luxury hotel collaborations which in 2026 feel terribly ordinary. The Savoy did an excellent job with Petrossian years ago but what’s next?

He wears The Ritz Paris x Frame pajamas just because they are very comfortable and they go that fancy logo. But is Frame really at the same level of The Ritz Paris? Awfully not. It might be very cost-effective for sure but wouldn’t Frette or even Zimmerli be a better fit?

That’s the reason why the Sybaritic Single never wears anything Aman. The quality of their produce is mediocre at best (their skincare line is outright awful) and he’d hate broadcasting any of the Aman resorts on his forehead. Amanpuri or Amanzoe cap, really? Obviously, he skips all other luxury hotel tack, be it The Ritz-Carlton or Jumeirah capsules, for the very same reason.

Smart fashion collaborations are, in his opinion, done by The Peninsula. Instead of co-branding, they simply align with luxury fashion.

The Sybaritic Single stayed at The Peninsula Hong Kong, Beijing Shanghai and London and, inevitably, he had fancy Chanel and Shiatzy Chen books published by Assouline in his suites. The latter caught his attention: he tried a few looks while staying at Beijing and Shanghai, fell in love with them - et voila: he is a fan spending thousands.

“The New Look of China” couldn’t be a better fit for The Peninsula.

Nothing co-branded, The Peninsula just introduced him to a fashion house he never knew existed - distilled luxury DNA at its best. Luxury hotels shouldn’t really try blending with fashion brands, yet aligning with them can become something truly exquisite.
