To Maine. Girlahead had been to that marvellous state, entering it from New Hampshire in the south, just to get as far as Kennebunkport. This time was going to be different. It was a four-day tourist trip.

The Inn at Hastings Park is the luxury Relais & Chateaux inn in historic Lexington MA that Trisha Pérez Kennealy built - well, not physically, but effectively. This incredibly extroverted and talented Puerto Rican-American decided long before she was a well-established investment banker that she wanted to have her own restaurant and hotel.

It is well worthwhile while staying at The Inn in Hastings Park to beg, borrow or steal bicycles. There seem to be more green-painted cycle roads around here than anywhere else in USA. You can certainly go all the seven miles to Harvard from Lexington.

Four Seasons One Dalton is the Boston hotel that makes you feel young again, or still young. Although this is a business hangout, the ambiance at its signature Zuma restaurant is 20s achievers and 20s heirs, kids who might be studying at Harvard, but thanks to daddy, have enough money to hang out here every night.

Markus Lindner couldn’t wait to show off a couple, or more, elephants.  Boston’s currently showing The Great Elephant Migration, a herd of 100 life-size Asian-elephant sculptures stretching a mile along Commonwealth Avenue Mall, Arlington Street to Fairfield Street.

While in Boston, Girlahead was able to have a look at arts and design generally, as well as the historical beauties of those old buildings, and the stunning modern creation of elephants walking in step, one behind the other, all 100 of them. There was also a chance to look at design.

The lovely boss of historic Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston, Tabish Siddiquie, was out of town. But never mind, Girlahead was looked after splendidly, magnificently
